Head to Chester County for a hot air balloon festival this June

There will be tons of activities both in the air and on the ground

Go for a ride in a hot air balloon this summer.

The 12th annual Chester County Balloon Fest will take place in June, over three days, at the New Garden Flying Field in Toughkenamon, Penn.

Visitors to the family-friendly festival are invited to take tethered or untethered hot air balloon rides, or watch as the colorful aircrafts take flight.

In addition, there will be helicopter rides, fireworks, a zip line, a special shape balloon show in the sky, monster truck rides, live music and a fire truck parade. Each day of the festival, there's a different schedule of events.

Admission is $10 for children and $15 for adults. Tethered balloon rides are $15, untethered rides are $225 in the morning and $250 in the evening, and helicopter rides are $60. Tickets can be purchased here.
