Police are looking to locate and identify the suspect wanted for allegedly placing skimming devices on local ATMs.

The Philadelphia Police Department's Major Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s help in locating a male suspect who was seen on surveillance video allegedly placing a skimming device on an ATM in Center City.

In surveillance video released by police Monday, the suspect is seen entering the 7-Eleven at 800 Walnut St. on July 17. He can be seen placing a skimming device, which was later recovered, on a standalone ATM, police say.

Police say he is believed to have also placed a skimming device on the same ATM on July 10. He is also wanted in connection with the placement of a skimming device on an ATM on the 200 block of Market St., which was recovered on July 26, as well as the placement of skimming devices on several ATMs in Montgomery County.

There is a $3,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Major Crimes at (215) 686-3396/3397 or 911.
