Around 3,000 without power in Spring Garden

Power will be restored by 11 p.m. Tuesday, officials said

Around 3,000 PECO customers near 11th and Spring Garden streets were without power Tuesday night. PECO officials said power would be restored by 11 p.m.

Around 3,000 PECO customers in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia are without power on Tuesday night.

The outage, which occurred at 8:40 p.m., centers around 11th and Callowhill streets and workers are busy trying to identify and fix the problem, said PECO spokesperson Deb Yemenijian.

Yemenijian said customers can expect their service to be restored by 11 p.m.
