The Philadelphia Folk Festival is the longest continuous running event of its kind.

Philadelphia Folksong Society will bring the annual Philadelphia Folk Fest back on Aug. 18. For four days, Old Pool Farm near Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, will be transformed into a massive concert venue. Eight stages will be set up to accommodate the long musical lineup and over 6,500 people are expected to camp out for the weekend festival.

Los LobosBuffy Saint-Marie, The Lone Bellow, Darlingside, Pine Leaf Boys and The Wood Brothers are only a few of the acts performing. The full list features a variety of folk artists, plus a showcase of local talent during the Campers Only show.

When not listening to folk and bluegrass music, festival attendees can stroll through the open-air crafts and vendor gallery or take a lunch break in the festival food court.

This year's event marks the 55th Annual Folk Fest, which is known as the longest continuously running outdoor musical festival in North America.

Tickets range from $10-$240, depending on age, if your camping, how many days you'll be attending and if you're bringing a vehicle on-site.
