Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of The History Channel's hit series 'American Pickers'
The History Channel's 'American Pickers' is coming to Pennsylvania for its upcoming season and is seeking leads to all kinds of antiques, heirlooms and keepsakes tucked away in one of the nation's original 13 colonies.
Last summer, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz passed through New Jersey in search of odds and ends. This time around, according to Lancaster Online, the duo is headed to the Keystone State to film between May 23-June 5.
Typically, they are looking for "interesting characters with interesting and unique items," which can encompass the following items listed by the show's producer, Ciniflix Productions:
Vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment, vintage clothing, pre-50's western gear.
Now entering its ninth season, 'American Pickers' previously appeared in York late last year to check out a collection housed in a warehouse full of discarded junk. Wolfe and Fritz are probably looking for a little more excitement. If the recent salvaging of a single-arch McDonald's sign in Lancaster is any indication of what's in store, they won't be disappointed.
