Philadelphia police are searching for an armed suspect who allegedly pulled a gun on a 13-year-old girl and threatened to shoot her in front of her father during a robbery in Northwest Philadelphia on July 11.

According to a police report and surveillance video shared by the Philadelphia Police Department, the suspect approached the father and daughter from behind while the two were walking in the 2100 block of Stenton Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. on July 11 and pulled a gun to the teen’s back while stating “Give me everything or I’ll shoot her in the back.”

The father reached into his pockets and handed over cash and a cell phone, which the suspect took and walked away -- according to a police report.

The father, a 53-year-old male, reportedly turned to follow the suspect at which time the suspect pointed the handgun at him and told him to walk the other way.

The suspect is described as a black, clean-shaven male appearing to be in his early-to-mid-20s wearing at the time a blue baseball cap, a white T-shirt and blue or black jeans.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353.
