Rescue at sea

A 10-month-old baby girl left drifting out to sea in a Fisher Price floating device was rescued by the Coast Guard in Turkey on Saturday after her parents forgot she was out there.

According to CNN, people in the water spotted the baby girl a football field away from the Turkish coast and alerted authorities.

The child's parents told the media that they weren't even aware that their daughter was out there when the situation quickly became an emergency scramble.

Beachgoers reportedly erupted in applause when the baby was returned to the arms of her mother, who will likely vow to become a helicopter parent from this day forward.
