After an investigation lasting several months, a Bucks County man has been arrested in connection to a marijuana farm that was observed in May by a New Jersey National Guard helicopter flying overhead in Falls Township, officials said.

According to authorities, 33-year-old Daniel Santos was arrested and arraigned Wednesday on drug delivery charges stemming from the pot farm he operated about a mile away from his home, Newsday reports.

Bucks County Detective David Hanks confirmed that 117 marijuana plants – worth an estimated $90,000 in street value – were seized from the farm situated in a wooded area.

After the New Jersey National Guard initially spotted the farm in May, they notified Hanks, who teamed up with investigators to follow Santos before bringing him into custody.

It was not clear whether Santos had an attorney.
