For the month of December, Ocean Prime is offering a new Shellfish Tower and Champagne pairing. The Center City restaurant's promotion is customizable and made-to-order.
Choose among oysters, lobster, shrimp and crabmeat for your Shellfish Tower. The most basic option, which can feed four people, is $80.
A Ruinart Blanc de Blanc can be paired with the entreé, for those who wish to indulge. Drink it by the glass ($40) or the bottle ($160).
Ryan Valentine, director of beverage for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, chose the varietal because of its high quality, as well as for its distinctive taste that pairs well with shellfish.
