Police are investigating after a 68-year-old man was found shot to death in Mansfield Township Sunday.
Authorities say they went to go check on a parked car on Monica Court around 4:15 p.m. There, they found James Dewyer dead inside his silver Dodge Avenger from an apparent shooting.
The last known address of Dewyer was in Burlington Township, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, but authorities believe he hadn't lived there for a few years, instead moving around a lot and sometimes residing in local motels.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113.
