A man wanted for a fatal shooting in Camden earlier this Fall has been captured in Florida, authorities announced Friday.

Prosecutors say that 18-year-old Samuel Lopez was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Deltona at a friend's house Thursday afternoon.

Lopez was being sought by authorities for the Sept. 27 death of 34-year-old Jose Franco, who was gunned down near the area of 28th Street and Pierce Avenue following a late-night robbery.

Earlier in December, Reymond Pagan, 29, was arrested for the killing, and he and Lopez were charged with first-degree murder while the latter was still on the loose.

Lopez, a Camden resident, is being held in Florida and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey, prosecutors say.
