Dr. Kiersten Cerveny, a native of Gloucester County, New Jersey, was found dead on Oct. 4 in the lobby of a New York City apartment building.

A 38-year-old New York dermatologist and South Jersey native who was found dead in a Manhattan apartment lobby earlier this month died of acute cocaine and alcohol intoxication, the New York medical examiner's office told NBC New York.

Kiersten Cerveny, a married mother of three young children who had grown up in Washington Township, New Jersey, was the valedictorian of the Washington Township High School class of 1995 and a former beauty pageant titleholder, Philly.com reports.

News of her death, and its cause, has shocked the South Jersey community.

The Daily Mail reports that Cerveny was allegedly using cocaine with HBO producer Marc Henry Johnson and James Holder inside an apartment unit in the building on the night of her death.

Holder, 60, who lives in the apartment building, previously served time for drug and weapons charges, the Daily Mail reports.

The Daily Mail reports that, according to their sources, surveillance video from the building shows Johnson and Holder moving Cerveny's body from the apartment unit to the lobby before calling 911.

Several bags of suspected cocaine were later found in Holder’s apartment, sources told the New York Daily News.

Authorities said neither of the men is expected to face charges.
