'College GameDay' will be back in Philly for Army-Navy

Will be second time show has come to the city this season

ESPN's College GameDay will be returning to Philly for the second time this year for a lone yet historic matchup.

The pregame show is coming to Philadelphia for the 116th Army-Navy game at Lincoln Financial Field on Dec. 12. It's the only college football game that weekend.

College GameDay came to Indepdence Mall on Halloween for the game between Temple and Notre Dame. Before that, the last time the show was in Philly was for a game between Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania in 2002.

The show did broadcast in Baltimore last year for the Army-Navy matchup, which is usually held in Philly but is periodically played in Maryland and New Jersey.

It's not clear if the show will be held at the South Philly Sports Complex or somewhere else.

Unlike Temple-Notre Dame, which was chosen as a location during the season, Lee Corso and crew have been commited to coming to Philly for Army-Navy since August.

Navy has won the last 13 matchups in the contest and comes into the game with 9 wins while Army's record is 2-9.

Tickets are available on StubHub, with the cheapest price being around $85 as of Sunday morning.
