Some Philadelphia stars will have their names permanently etched into show business history.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame announced its 2016 inductees on Monday. Among those chosen include Kevin Hart, comedian and actor from North Philly, and Bradley Cooper, an Academy Award nominated actor from Jenkintown.

Hart has been chosen as apart of the live theater/live performance category, while Cooper has been chosen for the motion pictures category.

Hart became one of the most commercially successful stand-up comedians in recent years, and has starred in several box office successes, including  "Ride Along" and "The Wedding Ringer." He'll return to his hometown in August to perform at Lincoln Financial Field in an attempt to draw the largest crowd for a stand-up show in history.

Cooper has enjoyed critical and commercial success with his most recent films, most notably Oscar nominations for "Silver Linings Playbook," "American Hustle," and "American Sniper." He also received a Tony nomination for his starring role in "The Elephant Man" on Broadway.

Both Hart and Cooper have two years to schedule their star ceremonies and have their names included among the legendary 15 blocks along Hollywood Boulevard.
