Delaware County man arrested in stabbing incident after Camden concert

A Camden County Police Department is seen in the city of Camden.

A Delaware County man was apprehended following a stabbing incident that injured a Pennsylvania man in Camden, county officials announced.

The incident occurred Saturday night around 9:05 p.m. following a concert at Campbell's Field on the Camden Waterfront.

Authorities say George Kelly, 25, of Ridley Park, stabbed a 26-year-old victim in the throat after a physical altercation between the two.

The victim was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Kelly has been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and unlawful possession of a weapon.

The investigation is ongoing.
