The Mütter Museum is Philly's creepiest institution.

The Mütter Museum may be Philadelphia's spookiest institution, and it isn't shy about holding awesome events for the not-so-squeamish set. Thursday, Aug. 27, it will host a beer event for the public with an exclusive new brew.

The College of Physicians, home of the Mütter Museum, is hosting a beer garden to unveil the beverage. The fennel ginger saison was created by Barren Hill and was inspired by the herbs in the Mütter's medicinal plant garden. It is appropriately dubbed Ümlaut Fever.

Entry to this opening beer garden is free and includes access to the Mind Illuminated exhibit. Beer and snacks will be available for purchase in the garden, but the museum itself will not be open.
