Toddler hospitalized after South Philly hit-and-run

A 20-month-old boy was taken to the hospital after being struck in a hit-and-run in South Philadelphia Friday evening, according to media reports.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports the incident happened on the 1500 block of Ritner Street around 6:15 p.m.

Police said a green van with New Jersey tags hit the toddler when he ran out into the road, according to the newspaper.

The child was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he was last listed in stable condition, according to 6ABC.

No arrests have been made, the news station reports.
