Find handmade gifts at Crafty Balboa's holiday market

You'll want to be first in line

The rooftop drinking hot spot Bok Bar may have closed for the season, but that doesn't mean events have ceased at the former Bok Technical High School in South Philly.

On Dec. 10, a holiday craft fair will take place in the building. Around 65 artists and craft makers will present their best handmade holiday gifts at Crafty Balboa Holiday (Anyone else imagining Rocky with some finger paint, feathers and a hot glue gun?).

Attendees will be able to find jewelry, art, home goods, ceramics, knits, ornaments and other goods. Here's a peek at some of the vendors.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., but it's worth it to be early. The first 50 shoppers in the door will receive a goodie bag filled with surprises from the vendors.
