About 900 are without power after a four-alarm fire broke out at a Montgomery County sheet metal plant following a reported explosion Monday evening.
The fire at Trico Metal Products, 2300 Wyandotte Rd., broke out after an explosion around 5:20 p.m., according to NBC Philadelphia. The cause of the explosion is unknown. The fire caused traffic backups both ways on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which is located next to the plant. Surrounding businesses were evacuated. Nobody was reported injured.
