Lululemon Local in Fishtown, located at 1424-32 Frankford Avenue.

The wait is over, Fishtown. Your sweat life is upon you.

On Black Friday, lululemon will officially open the doors to its new Local concept store at 1424-32 Frankford Avenue, one of just four of its kind in the United States.

In September, the minds behind the new shop explained to PhillyVoice how it will differ from your standard lululemon retail stores. The Local will be a community hub: a place to gather, do yoga, hold events and check out the work of local artists and interior designers.

"The Local will be a space where we can highlight local makers, contributors and captains so as to elevate the work of our hyperlocal and innovative community," said Sara Webster, Mid-Atlantic Area Community Manager for lululemon.

It's also all about embracing your sweat life, which involves "sweating once a day, personally developing and externally connecting" with your neighborhood.

Doors will open Friday at 11 a.m. leading up to a launch party from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Snacks will be provided by Feast Your Eyes, Philly Style Bagels and La Colombe. There will also be special Stripp'd Juice X Stateside Craft Vodka cocktails.

Additional event details can be found at the shop's Facebook page.
