Juliet Sabella, owner of The Wall Cycling Studio in Manayunk.

Local bike fanatics know all about the legendary Manayunk Wall, a steep incline that's challenging to even the most advanced cyclist. Just like the local landmark it's named after, The Wall Cycling Studio challenges its customers to achieve their fitness goals with fun, intense spinning classes.

Owner Juliet Sabella has earned her brand tons of dedicated fans throughout the area and The Wall now has locations in Phoenixville and Manayunk, where a brand-new studio space is on its way.

We chatted with Sabella about what gets her moving and what she loves about her neighborhood.

Where is your favorite place to hang out in Manayunk?

I love going to the great restaurants. My three favorite are Winnie's LeBus, The Goat's Beard and Taqueria Feliz.  I love that we can always sit outside with our dogs! When not eating, I love running in Manayunk. The tow path is great and I've learned to love running the hills.

Where do you go for a delicious, healthy meal?

I feel pretty lucky because all three of my favorite restaurants always have something that is super healthy -- or at least you can make it healthier.

I love the garden salad from The Goat's Beard. I opt for added chicken and dressing on the side. At LeBus, I get [the] all-white-meat turkey burger, completely plain with a side salad and at Taqueria Feliz, I get their kale salad or shrimp ceviche.

What’s on your workout playlist right now?

I just made a great playlist for class and love listening to them when I workout or run. It's a mix between Bass Nectar, Rob Zombie, Marilyn, Kid Rock, the Beatles and The Weeknd. It's got really great pick up and mellow out points!

What motivational mantra gets you through a tough day?

Honestly, whenever I think about complaining I say to myself  "This is my dream job," and then I'm happy again.

What’s on your holiday wish list?
I just want to be in my new studio, that is currently being built right now in Manayunk, and teaching classes by Jan. 1. It's a dream studio that I helped design and we will have spin and barre! Oh, and this sick pair of Nike Dunk Sky Hi's.
