Restaurants celebrate rosé wine

Find drink specials from Monday-Wednesday

Red wine and white wine are lovely, but rosé gives you the best of both worlds. That's why four restaurants on or near Thirteenth Street are celebrating the blushing booze with "Rosé Week" from Monday to Wednesday.

Barbuzzo, Jamonera, Little Nonna's and Lolita will have rosé drink specials all three nights of the event.

Barbuzzo is going whole-hog with a complete "rosé wine list takover." You'll be able to sample 23 rosé wines from seven different countries, involving 30 grape varietals.

Jamonera is offering a bottle of Rosado and a plate of fideau, a Valencian dish made with seafood and vermicelli noodles, for only $30 per person. They'll also have a happy hour special from 5 to 7 every day, offering a glass of rosé txakoli or half a dozen oysters for $10.

At Little Nonna's, the chef is serving a carafe of Gaglioppo rosé and Calabrian chili pork BBQ ribs for $35 per person.

Finally, Lolita is serving up baja-inspired tacos with a choice of rosé sangria or honeysuckle-rosé margaritas for $25 per person.
