"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

Well, it’s time to master that milk steak recipe for your “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia" premiere party. FX has officially announced that the show will begin airing it’s 13th season on Sept. 5.

Last season, it was revealed that Dennis fathered a child with a woman named Mandy. When his lies backfire, she decides to leave and takes their son with her. Dennis decides to go after them to North Dakota to be with his son.

This departure left many fans wondering if Glenn Howerton is leaving the show for good, but considering Howerton is a writer for the show, that hasn't been the case. Yet it’s still a bit unclear if Dennis will be returning to the gang.

Back in April, co-star Kaitlin Olsen told TheWrap that Howerton was coming back for a couple of episodes. But shortly thereafter, Howerton denied these claims and stated that Dennis returning was not confirmed for the 13th season. But then, a little over a month later, Charlie Day told TheWrap that fans “should feel hopeful” to see more of Dennis.

FX released in a press statement that Dennis will be in North Dakota, adding: “Even without Dennis Reynolds, the Gang has its hands full as Charlie hopes to have a child with The Waitress, Mac sets out to understand his newfound sexuality, Dee takes feminism to new heights, and Frank goes to great lengths for the Gang to experience the greatest moment in Philadelphia sports history – an Eagles Super Bowl victory.”

Well, whatever it is, we'll find out soon enough. So, pull up your TV tray, choke up on some hard-boiled eggs and fight milk, and catch the gang’s return to FXX on Sept. 5 at 10 p.m.
