Ghost Bear beer coming soon for Flyers fans

Shayne Gostisbehere doesn't endorse new brew, agent says

He has his own set of emojis. Now he has a beer named after him – well, sort of.

Conshohocken Brewing Company will soon be selling its new “Ghost Bear Golden Ale,” a clear nod to Flyers defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, aka Ghost Bear.

Per the brewery's social media pages:

Coming this Friday, GHOST BEAR Golden Ale in cans and on draft at both locations. Loaded with Pilsner malt, Ghost Bear drinks clean and delicious!

What does Ghost Bear think of having his own ale? Gostisbehere's agent Marc Levine sent Sons of Penn the following statement:

In no way, shape, or form has Shayne Gostisbehere authorized, or is affiliated or associated with the beer product. Additionally, he has not endorsed this product.

Ouch. Some advice for Ghost Bear: When you have a marketable nickname, roll with it. Just ask Joel "The Process" Embiid and his delicious, pre-bottled Shirley Temple drinks.
