Local zombies are creeping into the streets.

The creepy-crawliest local Halloween event is headed this way -- albeit, very slowly. The undead will descend upon the Trocadero Theatre for the annual Philly Zombie Prom on Saturday, Oct. 24, a night of fright.

During the Prom, the over-21 set will dress like zombies and dance all night to live music. At 8 p.m. the doors will open and makeup artists will be available to turn attendees into zombies for an extra $10. Zombie Prom photos will be taken at the entrance and a Prom King and Queen will be crowned at 11 p.m.

To kick off the night, DJ Kiltboy will spin downstairs while the Mighty Mike Saga entertains the balcony bar. At 10 p.m., Live Not On Evil will take the stage with The Young Werewolves following at 11 p.m. When the live music is through, DJ Kiltboy will return until the night is through.

This event usually sells out, so it's best to get tickets in advance. Identification will also be required for entry, so be sure to bring it along.
