Google Maps allows virtual tour of the Batcave

Search for 'Bruce Wayne's residence' to find the tour

Go on a virtual tour of the Batcave using Google Maps.

Batman is a great superhero, but he must be pretty bad at hiding his secret identity. Otherwise, he would never have let the programmers at Google Maps create a virtual tour of Bruce Wayne's house with the Batcave included.

Type "Bruce Wayne's residence" into Google Maps, and you'll be directed to a seemingly random spot in Michigan. Click "See Inside" to be transported inside the home. After that, it just takes a bit of snooping around to find the passage down into the Batcave.

It doesn't take long to figure out that this is a promotion for the new "Batman v. Superman" movie, which was shot mostly in and around Detroit. (The Warner Bros./DC Comics copyright notice at the bottom of the screen kind of gives it away.)

Still, the virtual tour offers some fun Easter eggs for fans. Try finding Batman's laboratory and a message from the Joker. Hundreds of fans have also left reviews of Bruce Wayne's house, most of which are positive (one neighbor does complain that "I haven't slept for months" because he keeps on hearing the sound of lasers, car chases and gunshots).
