The National Weather Service has issued another hazardous weather outlook for the region on Tuesday as showers and thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

Philadelphia district schools will close early again due to expected high temperatures. Schools with a graduation ceremony scheduled for Tuesday have the option to remain open for the ceremonies. The public is urged to monitor the District website for any updates.

The storms are expected to impact the Philadelphia region throughout the week, with torrential downpours causing potentially hazardous road conditions.

There may be a brief clearing before a second front makes its way through the region late Wednesday into the latter half of the week. Flash flooding is possible later in the week.

Heavy rains caused flash flooding and dangerous conditions in Bethlehem Township Monday night after four inches of rain fell in some parts of the township, 6abc reports.
