On Aug. 25, Old City's Hotel Monaco will wash dirty doggies for free.
Bring in your pup for a good scrub between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and your dog will receive a goodie bag from Doggie Style. Big dogs, small dogs, scruffy dogs and fluffy dogs all deserve to be pampered.
While the dog wash is free, donations to local, no-kill shelter Saved Me are appreciated.
Human attendees can enjoy a happy hour next door at Red Owl Tavern, where there will be drink specials and hot dogs.
The event correlates with National Dog Day, which is celebrated Aug. 26.
