Iconic South Jersey diner, shuttered for months, may reopen

Court filings suggest someone has acquired the property and liquor license with intent to reopen

A beloved South Jersey diner that has been shuttered for several months after filing for bankruptcy in August may soon reopen.

According to the Courier-Post, the property and liquor license for the now-closed Geets Diner, located on Black Horse Pike in Williamstown, Gloucester County, have been acquired by Kala-Trofi LLC, which has ties to the well-reputed Franklinville Inn.

The Courier-Post reports Kala-Trofi LLC snapped up the 10,000-square-foot building and liquor license for $3.9 million with plans to reopen it as is.
