The "Insane Inflatable 5k" race is coming to three New Jersey locations: outside Atlantic City (Aug. 27), Six Flags Great Adventure (Sept. 17) and outside Cherry Hill (Oct. 1).
Participants race through an inflatable obstacle course, where there are stairs and hills to climb, slides to go down and speed bumps, balls, dips and tunnels to maneuver through.
Each venue hosting an "Insane Inflatable 5k" across the country has its own unique terrain. For 2016, there are six new obstacles that could be a part of the New Jersey races.
There is no minimum age to participate in the un-timed race, but there is a height requirement of at least 42 inches. When registering, pick a "wave" (a specific time to run the course) or choose an all-access pass in order to participate at any start time.
Currently, registration for both Atlantic City and Six Flags is $57 through Aug. 12; Cherry Hill is $54 until July 22. After, the price will increase.
Spectators coming to watch friends and family can attend for free.
