Police in Rehoboth Beach arrested a Wilmington man for dunking a little girl he didn't know in a motel pool on Thursday.
On June 25, police responded to an incident at the Oceanus Motel concerning a suspicious person.
That person, 42-year-old Kevin Minor, allegedly grabbed a 6-year-old girl in the mote's pool and repeatedly dunked her below the surface of the water.
Minor's actions seriously alarmed both the girl and her mother. He was determined to be intoxicated by police; Minor was arrested and charged with reckless endangering, offensive touching and disorderly conduct.
No injuries were reported for the girl. Minor was evicted from the hotel and was taken to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of a $2,000 secured bond.
