Fairmount Park Conservancy is hosting a series of guided kayak trips on the Schuylkill River. Departures take place from the Walnut Street Dock or out back of Manayunk Brewery.
The next trip will take place on July 23 from Walnut Street. Each kayak trip is $40 per person (Fairmount Park Conservancy members receive a discount) and includes a kayak rental, lesson and tour.
For each trip, there are 12 single kayaks and three tandem kayaks.
In August, there will also be a sunset kayak tour and a full moon kayak tour offered. Spots fill up quickly for special events, so reserve a kayak in advance.
