We already knew that Jim Kenney's Jan. 4 inauguration event was set to have a block-party vibe. Now, Michael Klein at Philly.com has discovered which food trucks will be providing all the party snacks.
Nine food trucks in all will cater the party, which is invite-only and free to guests: Sweet Box, UndrGrnd Donuts, The Cow and the Curd, The Tot Cart, Baby Blues BBQ, SeoulFull Philly, Foolish Waffle, Innovative Catering and Taco Mondo.
The menu ranges from classic meatball sandwiches and Korean cheesesteaks to mini cupcakes and tater tots. Visit Philly.com for the full menu.
About 1,500 guests will attend the function, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. A reception for the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia will be held earlier that day, where each guest is asked to donate at least $5,000.
