Larry Brown says he could fix the Sixers ‘in five minutes,’ because, of course, he did

While Larry Brown finishes up a nine-game suspension for failing to control his program, he is still being asked questions about the team he took to the finals and then left over a decade ago.

And according to Jon Marks of Sheridan Hoops, Brown has plenty of opinions about the current Sixers (including one that Allen Iverson should be more prominently involved). These are not cold takes, folks:

“I’m sick of what’s going on there,” Brown said, who’s hopeful that old friend Jerry Colangelo will guide them in the right direction. “You know I care about the Sixers. It’s an unbelievable basketball city and I had a great experience there. I don’t want to get on them when they’re struggling, but they don’t have any veteran leadership. I want to help. I could straighten it out in five minutes. I wish they’d get Allen involved. All those young kids worship him.”

Brown is correct about the lack of vets, and he has never really agreed with The Process in general. The “five minutes” line is some A-plus trolling, as well. Hopefully, for his sake, the Sixers can turn it around at some point soon so poor Larry won’t have to feel sick anymore.
