P.S. & Co. serves up organic goodies and helpful workshops.

When P.S. & Co. opened their flagship brick-and-mortar last May, owner Andrea Kyan got Rittenhouse addicted to her organic, gluten-free, vegan, kosher sweets and cold-pressed juices. But she’s not done roping us in just yet.

To accompany her juice cleanses and organic meal plans, Kyan also hosts workshops to help customers really embrace healthy eating. This weekend, she’ll host a cold-press juice workshop as well as the beginning of her Savory Cooking Classes series.

The cold-press juice workshop will teach attendees everything about juicing, from its dangers to its health benefits. Learn the tastiest combinations, the best techniques, and then take some yummy juices home with you. It’s a winning way to start off the new year and cleanse your body of the post-holiday blahs. 

This weekend’s installment of Kyan’s Savory Cooking Class is sold out, but the next three Saturdays feature classes with a variety of themes. Sign up for Dressings and Condiments to learn about flavorful toppings, head to Curries and Rices for tips on the perfect rice texture, or try Noodles and Dumplings for simple, tasty recipes. Each $45 class includes a demonstration with some hands-on activities and taste-testing. Attendees also get 10 percent off purchases for the day.
