Live music at the flower show

Jazz and strings will greet SEPTA riders

Per CBS Philadelphia: The George Weldon Jazz Trio performs in Jefferson Station (formerly Market East Station) during the Philadelphia Flower Show in 2013.

If you plan on taking SEPTA to the Philadelphia Flower Show, you might be met with the sound of sweet music when you get off at Jefferson Station.

Two groups will be performing the final weekend of the show: The George Weldon Jazz Trio and the Polish American String Band. The former of those two has played in the station during the Philadelphia Flower Show before.

SEPTA announced the performances in a press release. The Got Strings Youth Orchestra played in the station on Saturday, February 28 as a part of the planned performances.
