Two llamas on the loose in Arizona captured the heart of countless Twitter users when they eluded captors — including police — for at least 10 glorious minutes.

It turns out that the pair of llamas were originally part of a trio. The escapees were therapy llamas visiting an elderly care center and managed to run off while their handler took a bathroom break, according to NPR.

They dodged around cars, trotted through parking lots and sauntered around grassy knolls.

The llamas — one black and the other white — were eventually caught, one at a time. But it provided a few Twitter users with some Thursday afternoon entertainment while at work.
