Lockheed Martin holding engineering, operations job fair in South Jersey

Defense contractor Lockheed Martin will hold a job fair in Mount Laurel Thursday to recruit engineers and operations employees for its Moorestown and Camden locations.

The company is looking to hire 300 people, both experienced professionals and recent graduates, for a variety of positions in manufacturing, engineering and business development for its Rotary and Mission Systems division.

Engineering and technology positions include systems engineers, software engineers and developers, hardware engineers, systems integration and test engineers and field engineers. In products and manufacturing, the company is seeking assemblers, microelectronic technicians, electronic test technicians, manufacturing methods engineers, test methods engineers and production control workers.

The Moorestown office primarily works in the production and development of radar and sensors, maritime systems and missile defense technology for both domestic and international customers. The Camden facility is dedicated to helicopters, ground-based radar and ship integration and testing.

Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Thursday's event will be held from 4-8 p.m. at Rowan College's Enterprise Center, located at 300 College Circle in Mt. Laurel.
