Man arrested in stabbing at N.J. home of Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA

A man has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing at the home of Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA on Saturday, New Jersey State Police said Monday night.

Thomas Norman, 23, of Englishtown, N.J., was charged Saturday after he was arrested by the Manalapan Township Police Department on unrelated warrants, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a Deer Trail Drive home around 1:18 a.m. Saturday morning. Two men were found at the scene suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.

They were airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment, according to police.

Norman was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a weapon. He was lodged at the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $120,000, no 10 percent.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Wu-Tang Clan, the Staten Island-based rap collective that emerged in 1993 with the release of their acclaimed album "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)," were previously under investigation by the FBI in connection with a pair of 1999 killings that the agency thought may have been ordered by the group.
