Montco woman who injected teen daughter with heroin sentenced

Authorities said she also injected her daughter's boyfriend with the drug

A Montgomery County woman was sentenced to five to 10 years behind bars Thursday on charges she injected her then-15-year-old daughter and daughter’s boyfriend (then 16) with heroin.

According to 6ABC, the woman, Patricia Davenport, of Harleysville, allegedly injected the two with heroin on several occasions. Police said Davenport drove them on “almost daily trips to North Philadelphia” to buy the drug.

Court papers stated a then-8-year-old relative was often in the car during these trips, according to 6ABC.

In one account described to the court, Davenport and a friend allegedly implored the girl to snort heroin off the kitchen table in a Montgomery Woods townhome.

Philly.com reported that Davenport had pleaded guilty in October to four felonies, including endangering the welfare of a child.
