At least four people were injured on Saturday when a 53-foot sport fisher boat with 13 people on board crashed in Long Beach Township, officials said.
According to CBS 3, the accident occurred at around 1:30 pm near the Holgate Marina in the Manahawkin Bay. One person was medevaced to a nearby hospital by helicopter, a Coast Guard spokesman said.
The three others were taken to South Ocean Hospital to be treated for head, neck and back injuries.
No other vessels were involved in the accident and an investigation is underway to determine what caused the accident.
