Celebrate National Margarita Day 2016 in and around Philly

Hardest decision you'll make all day: salt or sugar?

Cocktails National Margarita Day
Jalapeno Strawberry Margarita Thom Carroll/PhillyVoice

El Vez's jalapeno-infused strawberry margarita, garnished with a habanero pepper and a chili-salt rim.

If you've been searching for a reason to drink tequila on a Monday, look no further. Feb. 22 marks National Margarita Day 2016. Head out in Philly or the surrounding suburbs to grab deals and specials for the best, fake holiday in February.

Avenue Kitchen

Indulge in the new, blood orange margarita, simply made with tequila, blood oranges, lime and agave.

Sidenote: Tequila and orange actually go really well together. For those taking shots try an orange slice dusted with cinnamon and sugar instead of the popular lime and salt chaser.
