The dietary supplements company Pharmavite LLC has issued a recall Tuesday on its Nature Made brand adult gummy vitamins.
According to a statement from the company, the products involved in the recall may have been contaminated with Salmonella or Staph aureus. There is no word on how many people, if any, have become ill due to the potential contamination.
Pharmavite said it’s in the process of notifying its retail customers and distributors to remove the product from store shelves immediately, adding that no other products are impacted by this recall.
The recalled products were reportedly distributed nationwide to various major retailers.
