Sentiment grows that Eagles' Carson Wentz will be ready for Week 1

In the Philadelphia Eagles' first full team practice on May 22, we got our first glimpse of Carson Wentz on the practice field, roughly five months removed from surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee.

It was hard not to be impressed by Wentz's participation in practice, as he showed more mobility and zip on his passes than many would expect at that point in his recovery. On that day, we noted, "Pencil in Wentz for Week 1."

Sentiment is also growing nationally that Wentz will be ready for the start of the season.

I wouldn't exactly call that a report as it does not cite any sources and could very well just be an opinion formed off of the observations made by Eagles reporters at practices over the last few weeks. Still, it is at least mildly interesting.

The following is video of Wentz throwing during OTAs. The indoor clips occurred on May 22. The outdoor clips were shot on May 29.

Media will attend another Eagles practice today. There will be more video.
