A New Jersey Transit train waits at the Atlantic City Rail Terminal before heading off to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.

New Jersey Transit is reporting major train delays and cancellations due to reported signal issues and brush fires on Tuesday.

According to the agency, riders can expect about a two-hour delay along the Northeast Corridor Line.

The New Jersey Coast Line is also impacted with delays, though an exact wait time hasn't been posted.

According to ABC7 New York, clouds of "thick, dark smoke" stemming from two separate brush fires in the New Jersey Meadowland – in Kearny and in Secaucus – are also causing major transit delays.

The fires were each reported at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and were ongoing as of 1:45 p.m.

Every New Jersey county from north to south, as well as the suburban Pennsylvania counties ringing Philadelphia and New Castle County in Delaware, are under a fire watch Tuesday until 8 p.m.

Locals shared video and photos of smoke seen for miles, as shown below.

Up-to-date information, including alternate travel options, are being shared on NJ Transit's Twitter feed.
