Local community advocate Malcolm Kenyatta, along with other community partners, organized a non-partisan meet and greet between North Philly residents and the declared 2016 primary candidates who seek to represent districts within the neighborhood. On Feb. 9 at the TLO Event Complex on Cecil B. Moore Ave. community members are welcome to speak with the candidates about their visions for the neighborhood. Everyone will be allowed four to five minutes to speak.

These are confirmed attendees thus far: Representative Dwight Evans, Representative W. Curtis Thomas, Sharif Street, Dan Muroff, Katie McGinty and Representative Brian Sims.

The free event is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will include free food.
