Official pope store opens in Center City

More Francis merchandise than you can shake a papal scepter at

Pope T-shirts. Pope plates. Pope totes. All the papal swag you need will be available at the official merchandise store that has now set up shop in Center City.

Take note, this is no mom-and-pop pope pop-up shop.

Food giant Aramark, the official merchandise seller for Pope Francis' visit, announced Wednesday that it has set up the shop in the lobby of its headquarters on 11th and Market streets.

Disregarding the biblical commandment to take a day of rest, the store will be open seven days a week from now until Sept. 27, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

More retail locations will also be open at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Sept. 21 to 27, on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Sept. 26 and 27, and at Independence Mall on Sept. 26.

The store at 11th and Market streets will be open from now through the pope's visit. If you're put off by the idea of fighting off papal pilgrims for the last available Pope Francis tote bag, you can also buy your official pope rosaries, medallions, prayer cards and posters online at shop.worldmeeting2015.org.

A portion of each purchase benefits the World Meeting of Families.
