First Philadelphia Baby & Family Expo coming to Center City

The event promises to connect parents with resources for their family

The first Philadelphia Baby & Family Expo will take place Oct. 16 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. During the expo, there will be seminars, opportunities to sample new products, product demonstrations, breakout sessions, prizes up for grabs and activities to keep kids occupied while parents explore.

A few of the sponsors and exhibitors already committed include:  Ergo, Babies R Us, Bugaboo, Pottery Barn Kids, Nemours Children’s Health System, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, MOM’s Organic Market, Philly Baby Bump and Nest Chestnut Hill.

In total, 70 exhibitors are expected to participate.

The seminars will include discussion on transforming a nursery into a room for a toddler, getting children to sleep through the night and first fevers.

While parents explore the expo, kids who tag along can play in their own area. Activities for kids will include mini-spa treatments, music and crafts.

Tickets for the event rage from $15-$150.
