On Saturday, March 5, the Navy Yard will become a craft beer fest. Brewery stalls and food trucks will be set up outside for Philly Craft Beer Festival's 10th year. The event takes place outside, under tents, rain or shine.

Attendees can spend the day sampling a range of beers from 75-plus breweries and snacking on everything from pizza to waffles.

Back in 2008, Forbes Traveler called the event one of the "Top 10 Beer Festivals in America," and Philly agrees -- it usually sells out each year.

VIP tickets are no longer available, but general-admission tickets to the 21-plus event are still being sold for $46 per person. Designated drivers can attend for $12.

The admission fee includes a souvenir tasting cup and the freedom to sample beer from any of the breweries at the festival. There will also be free onsite parking and free shuttle bus transportation between the Navy Yard and the Broad and Pattison SEPTA stop.

The festival also helps raise funds for the local Philadelphia Committee to Benefit the Children.
