Vibrant rowhomes with large porches are a common sight in West Philadelphia.

Philly has made some impressive lists in 2015. Travel + Leisure named it one of the top cities for new restaurants, and it ranks third on The New York Times' list of top "Places to Go in 2015." But the city's also in some not-so-good company: Badcredit.org ranks it the seventh worst city in America for property crimes.

Philadelphia comes in behind Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City, among others. Phoenix is ranked sixth, while Dallas is eighth.

Badcredit.org, which is responsible for the list, based the rankings off 2013 FBI crime data, the most recent year for which information was available.

According to the report, there were 7,562 robberies, 53,452 property crimes, 37,253 larcenies and 5,791 motor-vehicle thefts.
